Obituary

Agnes Levine Haupt, 82, of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 15, 2026, 6:00pm at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Darr Stephan officiating.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to service time.  A private interment will be held at Palmetto Cemetery.

Agnes was born March 20, 1943, in Brunswick, to Samuel and Wilma Wayne Currie Levine. She graduated from Glynn Academy with the Class of 1961, and was a stay-at-home mom, volunteering as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, then ventured out and began working as the church secretary for St. Mark's Episcopal Church, retiring in 1991.  More recently she was a member of a Prayer Intercessor Chain, where sent daily devotional verses known as the Daily Word.

Survivors include her children, Edward T. Haupt (Melissa) of Orlando, FL, Sandra Wayne Haupt II Stephan, Heidi H. Scogin (Colin) all of Brunswick, grandchildren, Heather Haupt, Darr Stephan (Nena), Elijah Haupt, Elizabeth Haupt, Ariannah Stephan, Alexandra Stephan, Aidan Scogin, and Pierson Scogin, and a great granddaughter, London Stephan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Haupt, a daughter, Sandra Wayne Haupt, and sisters, Marian Sasser and Betty Levine.

Chapman Funeral Chapel & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
