Andrew Gregory Knezich, 90, of Darien, GA, passed away February 25, 2025, at Southeast Georgia Health System - Brunswick Campus.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church in Darien, April 4, 2025, 11:00 am, with military honors provided by the United States Navy.

Andrew was born December 14, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA, to Andrew John Knezich and Katherine Gregory Knezich. Knezich served with the United States Navy and was an Engineering Officer on the Leyte, and served as a US Navy Reservist during Vietnam. He was an Electrical Engineer with Lockheed Martin where he designed integrated circuits for military applications, and also Apollo Lunar projects.  After retirement, the Knezich's moved to Ft. Lauderdale, where they lived for 18 years, then on to St. Simons Island where they lived for  years, then finally to Darien where they have lived for the past 6 years.  HE was a member of Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Dr. Glen Knezich of Brunswick, a daughter, Denise K. Rothenhausler (Jose) of Darien, grandchildren, Melanie Knezich, Lisa Knezich, Andrew Knezich, Matthew Becker, and Lauren Becker.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha 'Marty' Fonner Knezich.
