Lucy "Ann" Caron Stacks Futch, 29 (wink wink) was called to her Heavenly Home on 21 December 2023.

Ann was born in Fitzgerald, GA on 28 January 1940 to Lucy and Dan Stacks. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years Elvis, her daughters Angela Denise and Melanie Ann Futch McBee, son-in-law Tony McBee, her father Willie Dan Stacks and stepmother Era Lou, mother Lucy Mae Janis and stepfather Mike Janis, brother LaDan Stacks, sister Wanda Zegers, brother-in-law Renny Zegers, brother-in-law Steve Bellinger, grandson Stephen Futch, and granddaughter Mariah Futch. Ann grew up in Fitzgerald, GA during her earlier years, before moving to New Jersey and from there to Toombs County, GA where she met her future husband, Elvis. During her childhood, Ann was active in
her church as well as being a majorette in high school. During her adolescence, she discovered she was a talented singer. Recognizing her talents, her father was instrumental in signing her to perform with a country band that played throughout Georgia. She never lost her zeal for singing, especially hymns.

After she married Elvis, they moved to Brunswick, GA and started their family. She continued singing after marriage and performed with her church as a soloist being broadcast on AM radio. While raising her children she kept busy with many trips to baseball, football and softball games, and tennis matches. In addition, she played softball in a county league. Trying to find some rest from raising her children, she started working with a local attorney's office. Then she was hired by the State of Georgia Dept of Transportation. She remained there until her retirement, allowing her to enjoy her grandchildren. Not wanting to leave the limelight, she became a DJ on radio station WYNR doing day and night shifts.
Additionally, she enjoyed doing karaoke with her youngest children. She and Elvis raised several generations of cats, caring for and feeding them, and at night a couple of racoons and even a fox or two would partake in the feeding schedule. Ann lived a full life with her family, always worshipping her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She now rests in His arms and is enjoying her heavenly rewards.

Ann is survived by her sons Dana (Laura), Steve (Leah), and Tim (Christy); grandchildren Johnathan, Patrick (Mae), Sarah, Christin (Thomas), Jessica, Cami (Andrew), Shayna, Lacie (Jath), David, Hannah, and T.C. ; great grandchildren Brenner, Cyrill, Loison, Caleb, and Cali; and two great-great granddaughters and Kinzee. In addition, she is survived by brothers and sisters Sherry (Herb), Jenny (Rick), Glenn (Kay), Michelle, Marsha (Bob), Michael and Mary Ellen.

A graveside service will be held on 28 December at 11:00 am at Harden's Chapel Cemetery in Lyons, Georgia. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's memory to a local animal no-kill shelter or a Veterans organization. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you for all prayers and thoughts.
