Barbara Carter Dennis, 84, of Brunswick, passed away Feb. 12, 2018, at Hospice of the Golden Isles.
A service, to celebrate her life, will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018, 3:00 PM, at Chapman Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Pat McCord officiating.
Mrs. Dennis was born April 14, 1933, in Bessemer, AL, to Curtis and Mildred Davis Carter. She had lived in Brunswick for the past two years, coming from Springfield, GA. She was retired from the State of Georgia.
Survivors include her sons, Steve Whiten (Joan) of Brunswick, John Whiten of Villa Rica, GA, and Ernest M. Whiten of Hilton Head, SC, five grandsons, and 2 great grandsons.
