Barbara 'Liz' Elizabeth Baker, 56, of Hortense, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.

Liz was born July 22, 1968, in Fitzgerald, GA to Robert Miles King and Barbara Louise Stubbs King.  She had lived most of her life in Pitts, GA, moving to Brunswick in 2002, and had lived in Mt. Pleasant for the past 2 years.  She enjoyed photography and crime TV.  Liz had been employed with the Picture Me Portrait Studio in Walmart.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Paul E. Baker, Jr., of Mt. Pleasant, daughters, Amanda Newell of Mt. Pleasant, and Kristen Johnson (Jessica) of Valrico, FL., grandchildren, Makaila Newell, Elaina Newell, Theron Newell, and Dakota Johnson, a sister, Melody Dent (Scott) of Pitts, GA, and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie King and Jimmy King.

Private services will be held at a later date.
