Barbara Anne Kinney, 89, of St. Simons Island, passed away Wednesday at Southeast Georgia Health System.

Barbara was born October 9, 1931 in South Carolina to James C. and Nellie Dolan.  She had lived on St. Simons Island for the past 63 years, and was a member of Christian Renewal Church.  She lived a long faithful life on St. Simons Island and helped lead many people to the Lord.

Survivors include her children, Susan W. Kinney - Lopez and John C. Kinney, Sr., both of Brunswick, grandchildren, Rebekah L. Lopez - Kinney, John C. Kinney, Jr., Jan M. Kinney, Jenuine H. Kinney, great grandchildren, Rileigh Ann Kinney, John C. Kinney, III, Mackenzie Grace Kinney, and Kimberly Kinney, and a sister, Betty J. Doland.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Calder W. Kinney, and a daughter, Carol W. Kinney.

A service will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Christian Renewal Church of St. Simons at 12:00pm.
