Barbara L. Poetzman, 78, passed away peacefully at her home in Townsend, GA on June 23, 2024.  Born in Arlington, VA on October 27, 1945 to Albert and Frankie Lang, Barbara was a mischievous and joyful child that carried that attitude throughout her life.  She graduated from Wakefield High School in 1963 and went on to work in a variety of different fields, culminating with the coveted Cruise Director position at the prestigious Heritage Harbor community in Annapolis, MD.  In an earlier career as an Electrician's helper, she found the spark of her life, Robert, who proceeded her in death.

She is also survived by her daughter, Kelly Jeffries and her brother, Andrew Lang.

Since Barbara was always the life of the party, there will be a Celebration of her Life to be held at a later date.
