Bobby David Moore, Sr., 85, of Brooklet, passed away February 5, 2022, at East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022, 2:00 pm at Chapman Funeral Chapel, a visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time.  Interment will follow at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery.

Bobby was born April 14, 1936, in Valdosta, GA, to Earl L. Moore, Sr., and Mattie Fender Moore. He was a 1954 graduate of Glynn Academy, and attended Georgia Southern University (formerly, Georgia Teachers College).  Bobby has lived in Brooklet for the past 15 years, and was employed by Color Technologies.  Bobby was a paint chemist for over 50 years.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Gwen Moore, their children, Kelley Sawyers of Lebanon, TN, Mary Carlo (Perry), of Brooklet, GA, Tammy Stanford (Randy), of Zephyrhills, FL, and Terri Higginbotham (Omer) of Brunswick, a sister-in-law, Joyce Moore of Brunswick, and a brother-in-law, John Smith (Nancy), of St. Simons Island, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great, grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a son, Bobby 'David' Moore, Jr., and a brother, Earl Moore, Jr.
