Brenda Weese Durden, 52, of Brunswick, passed away early Thursday morning at Hospice of the Golden Isles.

A service to celebrate Brenda's life, will be held Monday, May 1, 2023, 6:00 pm, at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bob Bolettieri and Pastor Art Cyphers officiating.

Brenda was born September 6, 1970, in Plattsburgh, NY to Charles Lee Weese and Carolyn Sue Hawkins Weese.  She was a Nuclear Power Plant fire watcher with D,Z, Atlantic Group of North Carolina.  She had lived most of her life in South Georgia, including Darien, Brunswick, and Kingsland, attending Camden County High School, and was a member of Norwich Baptist Church.  Brenda enjoyed the symphony, enjoyed working and enjoyed cooking.  She loved her grandbabies, and Christmas was her favorite holiday.

Brenda is survived by her boyfriend, Ronnie Gallardo of Brunswick, her mother, Carolyn Weese of St. Marys, her children, Samantha Gearhart (Kyle) of Brunswick, Trent Burgess of Spindale, NC, and Jessica McGrath (Joey) of Vinton, VA, a brother, Richard Weese of Waynesville, and 2 sisters, Sandra Street (Matt) of Hilliard, FL, and Taya Avila (Billy Doss) of Summerville, SC, grandchildren, Kamden, Jordon, Abigail, Peyton, Sophia, Bentley, Michael, Charlotte, Cynthia, Haedyn, and Lyla.
