Obituary

Loving Wife, Mother, Nanny, and friend to all, Brenda Marie Williams Fritchey, 73, of Brunswick, passed away at her residence Saturday, surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice of the Golden Isles.  She was preceded in death by her father, (Eddie Williams, Sr.), mother, (Louise Lambert), sister, (Paula Flinchum), Granddaughter, (Regina Joiner), grandson-in-law, (Virgil Embery), father-in-law, (James Fritchey), mother-in-law, (Bertie Fritchey), brother-in-law, (Raymond Fritchey), brother-in-law, (Donald Hazel).

Services to celebrate Brenda's life, will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 11:00 am, at Pentecostals of Brunswick Church, with Pastor Danny Webster officiating.

Brenda was born February 5, 1948, in Brunswick, GA to Eddie Tillman Williams, Sr., and Louise Segui Williams.  She had lived in Naples/Fort Myers, Florida for many years attending Faith Apostolic Church, where she taught Sunday School and was leader of Ladies Auxiliary.  After moving back to Brunswick, she attended Pentecostals of Brunswick Church.  Brenda loved children, was happiest with a child in her arms.  She was 'Nanny' to all children.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Jimmy Fritchey, Sr., of Brunswick, her children, Jimmy Fritchey, Jr. (Teena) of Florida, Robert Fritchey (Sonja), of North Carolina, Anne Anderson (Donnie) of Brunswick, and Connie Conde (Rick) of Florida, brothers, Eddie Williams, Jr. (Connie Beth) of Brunswick, Henry Williams (Michelle) of Hoboken, and Billy Segui of Florida, a sister, Renee Hartman of Florida, grandchildren, Jimmy, III, Brett, Maggie (Tomas), Becca, Bianca, Hunter, Joshua (Becca), Christopher, Natasha, Karaline, Kamiko, Shalonda, Ben (Shelbey), Naomi (Jay), Emma (Roberto), Jessica (Aaron), Calvin (Brittany), and Shelina (James), great grandchildren, Audrey, Nick, Kayla, Maddy, Logan, Lennox, Bailey, Sophia, Amelia, Ollie, Jupiter, and Lincoln, sisters-in-law, Linda Hazel, of Florida, Karen Guida, of Florida, brother-in-law, Roger (Jenny) Fritchey, and numerous nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tupelo Children's Mansion, Tupelo, MS, or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
