Bud Coleman, 91, of Brunswick, passed away April 18, 2018, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.
A service, to celebrate his life, will be held Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Glyndale Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Creekmore officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date in Palmetto Cemetery.
Mr. Coleman was born March 12, 1927, in Hinesville, GA to Thomas Wilson Coleman and Edith Delk Coleman. He had lived in Brunswick most of his life and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. Mr. Coleman was a member and and served as Deacon at Glyndale Baptist Church, he retired from Hercules, Inc. in 1989 after 33 years of employment. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Survivors include his wife Betty Joyce Coleman, daughters, Suzanne Coleman Zelada, and Leslie Michelle Coleman, a granddaughter, Elena Leslie Zeloda, a brother, Raleigh Coleman (Darlene) and a sister, Margie Cothran, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Barry Michael Coleman, and Marvin Wilson Coleman, Jr., sisters, Mary Woods, Gwen Hudgins, and Dodie Griffith, and brothers, Marin Coleman and Wesley 'Red' Coleman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Glyndale Baptist Church 'Together We Grow' Building Fund.
