Candy Howard, 67, of Hortense, passed away on Sunday, September 17,2023, at her residence.

Candy was born August 12, 1956, in Brunswick to Clarence Thomas Drawdy and Helen Mynita Hill Drawdy.  She had lived in Southeast Georgia all of her life, and received an Associates Degree in Business Administration and had been employed as an Assistant Loan Officer at Southeastern Bank of Darien.  She was a member of Bay Harbor Brantley Church of God, where she loved attending church and being faithful to God.  Candy enjoyed sewing, planting flowers, cooking, and re-doing furniture.

Candy is survived by her husband of 42 years, Cliff Howard of Hortense, a daughter, Paige Howard (James Warner) of Hortense, a brother, Tommy Drawdy (Oneda), of Darien, sisters, Marie Drawdy of Darien, and Cindy Drawdy of South Carolina. grandchildren, Hayden A. Smith and Lily G. Howard, cousins, Marty Pearson and Joanna Hewitt Pearson, and numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Griffin.
