Carmelita Ewry Hill, 75, of Brunswick, passed away September 1, 2023, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus.

A visitation for family and friends, will be held Thursday, September7, 2023, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, at Chapman Funeral Chapel.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Ricky Hill of Brunswick, children, Adam Bartoo, Lisa Bartoo, Vincente Sepulveda, siblings, Ernie Macam, Roberto Macam, Tessa Graham, Nancy Caiola, granddaughters, Ashley Lynn Coffey, April Nicole Glenn, and great grandsons, Isreal John Coffey and Blake Kenneth Coffey.

Carmen was born in the Philippines November 6, 1947, and became a US Citizen 15 years ago.  She had lived in Brunswick since 1999, and had been employed as the Head Housekeeper for Quality Inn Brunswick, where she received the Corporate 100 percent Cleanliness Award, something that she was very proud of.  She enjoyed doing crochet, watching home shopping network, collecting teddy bears and angel figurines, and playing cards.
