Carol Ann Beckham, 78, of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at her residence.

Services to celebrate Carol's life, will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 2:00pm, at Chapman Funeral Chapel.

Carol was born November 4, 1945, in New Malden Surrey, England, to Michael Angelo Lena and Jean Elizabeth Hyland.  She was a 1964 graduate of John Jay High School in Westchester County, New York, and had lived in Brunswick since 1968.  Carol was a devoted wife, and wonderful mother, who remained in the home until going to work full time at Brunswick High School as a paraprofessional in the Special Education Department, until the youngest of their five children started High School, retiring in 2012.  She was artistic and creative, and a talented seamstress.  She loved going on cruises, and shopping.

Carol is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry Beckham, 5 daughters, Melissa Beckham Merritt  (Gary), Lisa Ann Cowman, and Elizabeth Anne Beckham, all of Brunswick, Sara Jean Altman of St. Simons Island, and Amy Marie Gentry (Kenny), of Augusta, a brother, Steven Lena of New Carmel, NY, grandchildren, Zack and Simon Altman, C.J. Cowman, Madison Merritt, Abigail, Emily, and Breanna Gentry, Aliza and Riley Brockington, and 1 great grandson, Barrett Wylder Cowman.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Mike Lena, Timothy Lena, and Donna Norden.
