Carol Ann Pyle, 82, of Brunswick, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021, at her residence in Brunswick.
Carol was born August 26, 1938, in Warsaw, Ohio, to Russell and Dorothy Booth Lutz. Coming from Birmingham, AL, she had lived in Brunswick since 2010. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and the St. Mary's Guild. She was a volunteer at Hello-Goodbuy, and enjoyed crocheting and knitting for various charities.
Survivors include her children, Scott William Pyle of St. Simons Island, Julie Brown (Danny) of Vestavia Hills, AL, Jeanne Pyle Conrade (Guerry) of Savannah, a sister, Georgia 'Jean' Summit (Robert) of Ohio, a grandson, Daniel Derick Brown, and a God-given daughter and best friend, Gwen Hill of Brunswick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Derick Ross Pyle, and a daughter, Janet Johnston Pyle.
Services to celebrate Carol's life, will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Saturday, June 19, 2021, 11:00 am, with Father Alan Akridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 900 Gloucester Street, Brunswick, GA 31520.
