On October 31, 2023, Carolyn Raedean Sanders joined our heavenly Father at the age of 51.  She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many.  Carolyn was born in Fort Smith Arkansas on September 15, 1972. She is survived by her sons, Chantz and Dean; father, Robert Sanders; her brother Jimmy Sanders; her sister Lisa Sanders, Carolyn's nephew, Seth Sanders; niece Jaylan Sanders, and her English Bulldog Bella and her cat Cookie. Nothing was more important to Carolyn than her family especially her two sons and Bella.  Carolyn is preceded in death by her mother Mary Sanders and her stepmother Cherry Sanders.

At the age of 19, Carolyn joined the U.S. Army as a O5H, Electronic Warfare Signal Intelligence Morse Interceptor.  She then worked with the Department of Homeland Security; Transportation Security Administration (TSA) as an inspector in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.  From there, Carolyn joined Department of Homeland Security/Immigration and Customs Enforcement/Enforcement and Removal Office as a Deportation Officer. Her assignments with ERO included the Irvine, CA office, Knoxville, TN office, Fayetteville, Arkansas office and culminated at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, where Carolyn excelled as a Course Developer and Instructor at the ERO Academy in Glynco, GA. Carolyn is remembered by all at the Federal Law Enforcement Academy, instructors, and students alike, for her warmth and contagious smile.
