Catherine Garland Williams Berry entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 surrounded by her family. Catherine was the last baby born in Athens, Georgia on New Year's Eve in 1977. She attended Athens lower schools, Rabun Gap Nacoochee School, and Clarke Central High School. She graduated from Athens Technical College with a degree in nursing. She was a loving mother, sister, and friend - and if you were her friend, you were family. A creative spirit and an excellent cook, Catherine loved art in all its forms, especially live music and tattoo arts.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Darrien Zoree Garland Daily, and her mother, Roycelynn Curtis Williams, and is survived by her son, SPC Gavin Berry, United States Army, her father, Jim Williams, and her sisters, Julia Martin (Edward) of Brunswick, and Mary Lynn Ford (Bill) of Augusta.

The family will have a private service and interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery in Jefferson, Georgia.
