Charles M German

Charles M. German, Jr., 81, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 29th.

Born in Savannah, GA, on October 14, 1943, Charles moved to Brunswick as a child and made it his lifelong home. A dedicated land surveyor by trade, Charles took pride in his work and the many years he spent helping shape the region he loved. Beyond his profession, he found joy in fishing and reading books.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles M. German, Sr., and Frances Burke German of Brunswick, GA, as well as his sons, Roy German of Brunswick, GA, and Randall Crosby (Nadine Crosby) of Hortense, GA. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Patricia Wray German of Brunswick, GA; his children, Robert German, and Mark German, both of Brunswick, GA, Beth Anders of Yulee, FL, and Belinda Wray of Jacksonville, FL. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025, 11:00am at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Keith Powell officiating.  Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery, McIntosh County.  A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time.
