Charles Dale Pittman, 73, of Brunswick, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, at Southeast Georgia Health System - Brunswick Campus.

A Celebration of Life, will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024, 6:00pm, at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Donald Pittman officiating.

Charles was born in Brunswick, August 16, 1950, to Tracy Edward and Beatrice Redmond Pittman.  He had lived in Brunswick all of his life, attending Glynn Academy.  He was a member of the Bethel Church of the Nazarene, and was the owner and operator of Pittman's Cleaning Services.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed being outdoors.  For the past few years, he enjoyed traveling in his RV.

Charles was a beloved husband of Sheila Pittman for the past 47 years, father to Jennifer Pittman Juliano (Justin), and Jeremy Dale Pittman (Amy), PawPaw to Peerson B. and Paislee K. Juliano, and Ada L. and Judson D. Pittman, brother to Linda Yeomans (Gene), Rhonda Lawson (David), Donald Pittman (Diane), and Richard 'Bugs' Pittman (Kathy),  and friend to many. He will be sorely missed, but will be loved and remembered forever by his mother-in-law, Lillie Smith, his nieces, nephews, and friends that will remember all the good times spent with 'Charlie Dog'.  Of all of Charles' roles in life, being Paw-Paw to Peerson, Paislee, Ada, and Judson, was, by far, his favorite role.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by brothers, Bill Pittman and Tracy 'Eddie' Pittman.
