Chester W. Zubrowski, 93, of Brunswick, formerly of Springfield, MA, passed away April 23, 2018, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.
Funeral services will be held from the grave site at Chapel Park Cemetery on Friday, April 27, 2018, 12:30pm with Father Timothy McKeown officiating. A reception will be held at the Zubrowski home in Belle Point following the service. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
Mr. Zubrowski is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ann Cox Zubrowski, a daughter, Teresa Zubrowski, a son, Paul Zubrowski (Moira), and 5 grandchildren, Alexander Zubrowski (Katie), Amanda Zubrowski, Arika Williams (Bryan), Andrew Zubrowski, and Alaina Zubrowski. He was proud of their accomplishments, and enjoyed their successes. He was Papa to all the extended family and recently became a great grandfather to Olivia Zubrowski and Arie Williams.
Mr. Zubrowski was retired from Georgia Pacific Gypsum Division, and was an Army veteran serving During World War II, and the Korean Conflict.
