Christopher Neal O'Quinn, age 46, passed peacefully Wednesday morning, February 15, surrounded by loving family. He was a lifelong resident of Brunswick, and supported his community his entire life. Chris touched the lives of so many as a friend, teacher, coach, school counselor, and neighbor. Everyone who knew him would say their life was better for having him in it.

Chris was never without a joke, or a word of encouragement for everyone he met. Whether you saw him playing trivia at a local restaurant, or walking the halls at Brunswick High School giving a high five to one of the countless students he mentored, he had a huge smile on his face and a kind word to share. Chris's greatest joy was supporting his family, and cheering on the UGA Bulldogs.

Chris is survived by his wife, Leigh, children Brady and Addison; parents, Terry and Pam; brother, Lee; and a large extended family.

A service to celebrate Chris' life will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023, 10:00am, at Chapman Funeral Chapel, with Michael Thomas officiating, a reception will follow at The Event Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525.
