Courtney Willis
Foxworth
Aug 30, 1989 — Apr 4, 2024
Courtney Diane Willis Foxworth, 34, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family on
Thursday, April 4th, 2024.
Courtney was born at home in Townsend, GA, August 30, 1989. She attended McIntosh County Academy, where she
later worked as a cheer coach.
Courtney was a Master Cosmetologist and the proud owner of Embraced Salon & Spa located in Downtown Brunswick.
She was called to spread joy, encouragement & share her gifts. Courtney left an impression on everyone that entered
her salon, greeting them with her affectionate smile and fashion-forward, over-the-top, & fun outfits each day.
Courtney began her battle with breast cancer on Mother's Day in 2022. The diagnosis would not stop her, she was a
fighter. She fought a very long, hard battle, using every option available – conventional treatments and holistic methods.
During this difficult time, she held strong and relied on her faith. Courtney was the definition of a good and faithful
servant. She still worshiped Jesus on her toughest days. We can rest assured she was welcomed by angels, and when she
saw Jesus, she asked for a selfie at the Pearly Gates. Courtney loved her photos!
She lived her life to the fullest in her short time here. Although she worked hard, she could play even harder. She
enjoyed boating, getting pampered, and eating out in good restaurants, where she always asked if the shrimp were
fresh, Wild GA Shrimp! She loved her boys dearly and loved being with family and friends the most.
Survivors include her husband, Christopher Foxworth, sons, Waylon Foxworth and Aiden Willis, brother, Bo Willis, sister,
Amanda Willis, father, Walter Willis, and grandmother, Betty Willis. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred
Mallard, a sister, Loren Caroll, and her grandfathers, Joseph Mallard Sr, and Robert Willis.
There will be a celebration of life gathering at The Chapman Event Center, 6045 Golden Isles Parkway,
on Friday, April 26,2024 at 6:00PM until 11:00PM.
