Daniel Kelly Deel, 48, of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Hospice of the Golden Isles.

Daniel was born February 17, 1974, Hopkinsville, KY, to Sara Workman Deel and Douglas Richard Deel, Sr.  He had lived all of his life in Hopkinsville, until moving to Brunswick in 2020.  While in Hopkinsville, he was a member of St. John United Methodist Church and was a 1993 graduate of Hopkinsville High School.  Daniel attended the University of Kentucky, receiving a bachelor's degree in Plant and Soil Science, graduating in 2003, and later joined the Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters, Local 357.  After moving to Brunswick in 2020, he joined the Southeastern Carpenters & Millwrights Local 256.  Daniel was a devout University of Kentucky basketball fan, he loved spending time with his children and family, his smile was contagious, his sense of humor was unmatched, and he loved pushing everything to the limits...especially the gas pedal.

A gathering to celebrate Daniel's life, will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 3:00 until 6:00 pm, at the Amenities Center at Villas of the Golden Isles, Villa Road, Brunswick, GA.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Nikki Deel, children, Cash & Farrah Deel, his father, Doug Deel, all of Brunswick, a brother, Ricky Deel (Nancy), and nephew, Ozzy, all of Seward Alaska. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sara Workman Deel.
