David Carl Idleman Jr., an R & R Specialist/Transmission Expert at Jeff's Transmissions and resident of Brunswick, GA died unexpectedly on May 9

, 2021 at the age of 48.
Dave is survived by his mother: Vermelle (Swain) Idleman, his wife: Shea (Beck) Idleman, his children: Robbie Morales (Nikki) and Ryan Morales of Brunswick. His sister's – Tracie Yates (Sam)- Chris and Jennifer Yates, and Meegan Perkins (Dan)-and Garrett Perkins. His Grandchildren: Hyleigh Morales and Chezlee Morales and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. His mother-in-law, Glenda R Beck, Brother-in-Law, Tommy (Allison) Beck and Sister-in-law(s), Kelli Wommack and Gina (Roy) Newsome.
Dave is predeceased by his father: David Carl Idleman Sr., his grandparents Paternal: Emmett and Marie Idleman, Maternal: Charles and Grace Swain, His Nephew Austin Perkins.
Dave was born in Heidelberg, Baden/Wuerttemberg, Germany on June 16

, 1972 to David Carl and Vermelle Idleman. His family moved back to the United States in 1972. Dave graduated from Castle High School in Newberg, Indiana. On July 18
th
, 2008 he married Shea (Beck) of Glynn County. Dave was a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather and an avid Drag Racing & Nascar fan. He enjoyed a good race. He also enjoyed fishing and working on/rebuilding cars, He loved watching and supporting his sons and his granddaughters riding dirt bikes and ATV's. Dave loved to cook on the grill. He most enjoyed spending time with his boys, Robbie and Ryan Morales. As a grandfather, his heart belonged to two of the most beautiful granddaughters', Hyleigh and Chezlee. He loved his family and friends whole heartedly. Dave was a very patient and kind man, who took excellent care of his wife. Dave met no stranger, and there wasn't a person he couldn't put a smile on their face. You can tell a lot about a person based on character, and Dave's character was one that everyone loved. He could walk in a room and just make it all better. He was a great listener and teacher. His smile alone could light up your day. He will be deeply missed, by all who love him.
A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 13

, 2021 at Chapman Funeral Chapel from 6:00-7:00 and a Memorial Service immediately following at 7:00 for family and friends.
