David C Taylor

David C Taylor, 82, of Brunswick, passed away Friday, April 24, 2026, at Harbor View Health Care in Jesup.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 1, 2026, 11:00am, at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joey Taylor, Brother Joel Aldridge, and Brother Shawn Knudson officiating.  Burial will follow at Blount's Crossing Cemetery with Josh Taylor, Kody Begnaud, Greg McCranie, Shannon Griffin, John Daly, and Hammer Jackson serving as active pallbearers.  A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

David was born August 23, 1943, in Glynn County, GA, to Harper and Claudia Strickland Taylor.  He had lived all of life in Glynn County and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.  He was retired as an auto body technician from Barber's Body Shop, and enjoyed hunting and freshwater fishing, gardening and raising chickens.

Survivors include his son, Mike Taylor (Stacie), granddaughter, Shelby Begnaud (Kody), great grandchildren, Pru and Pierce Begnaud, siblings, Mildred Smith (Carroll), and Gene Taylor, sister-in-law, Liz Taylor, David was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Taylor, son, Chris Taylor, grandson, Christopher Taylor, , granddaughter, Penelopie Begnaud, brothers, Larry Taylor and Albert Taylor, and a sister-in-law, Linda Taylor.
