Dawn Marie Usher, 55, of Waycross, passed away Friday, at Memorial Satilla Healthcare under the care of Satilla Hospice.

Dawn was born March 31, 1967, in Brunswick, GA to Leon and Juanita Tyre.  She had lived all of her life in Brunswick until moving to Waycross in November of 2022. She was a 1985 graduate of Brunswick High School, was a member of Fellowship Methodist Church and had been employed as the hotel manager at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Brunswick.  Dawn enjoyed fishing, interior decorating, and photographing nature.

Survivors include her brother, James Wesley Usher of Brunswick, a sister, Tammy Duncan (Bobby) of Albany, a daughter, Hope Usher of Albany, nephew, Bobby Duncan, Jr., cousins, Lana Stephens, Brandon Strickland, Brittnay Strickland, and numerous other cousins and extended family.

Services to celebrate Dawn's life, will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023, 11:00am, at Sterling Church of God, with Pastor Larry Daughtry officiating.
