Deborah Lynn Fischer,61, of Brunswick, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at Hospice of the Golden Isles.

Deborah was born January 13,1961 on Friday the 13th, to Lou Ada Waley and James Shonerd in Patuxent River, Maryland. She married the love of her life, Timothy Fischer, and together they lived in and traveled to many cities around the US. She especially loved St. Augustine and visiting Universal Studios. Deborah had a tender heart for animals, donating to Castaways Animal Rescue, as well as loved the outdoors. She was a member of The Wild Turkey Federation, and enjoyed RVing and camping. She also loved to knit and spend time with her beloved family.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband; Timothy Fischer, father; James Shonerd, children; Elizabeth Childree (Curtis), James Fischer, Karl Fischer, grandchildren; Isabell, Holly, Skyler, great-grandchild; Neveah, aunts; Norma (Will), Lee (Dale), one nephew; Austin, and many other loved ones and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lou Ada Shonerd, and sister, Lynn Shonerd.

An informal memorial gathering will be held from 3:00-5:00 PM at Chapman Funeral Chapel, Friday, January 13,2023.
