Deborah Ellen Messer, 69, longtime resident of Brunswick, GA, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022.

Debbie was born to Mildred Capps Jerome and James Arthur Waters on September 23, 1952, in Alcoa, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Debbie loved going to church and walks on the beach. She loved her cats and birds, especially Shiner. She had the most pride for her family and never forgot a birthday or holiday.

Survivors include her sisters Sandi Pevoto and husband Neil of La Marque, Texas; Brenda Groover of Brunswick, Georgia; Susan Griffin and husband Danny of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; and son, Dustin Reed Nichols and wife Jennifer of Victoria, Texas; and daughters Heather Nichols Jowers and husband Ramie of Waverly, Georgia; and Ashley Nikole Winkelmann and husband Brett of Lake Worth, Florida, as well as seven grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, Emilia Jo, and many nieces and nephews.

Services for Ms. Deborah Ellen Messer will be Friday July 8th, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Chapman Funeral Chapel with a private burial following.
