Derrick 'Ricky' Gray Higgins, 73, of Brunswick, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Homelife on Glynco.

Ricky was born August 16, 1951, in Exeter, NH, to Harold Whitton Higgins and June Lois Wilson Higgins.  Coming from Fort Myers, Florida, he had lived in Brunswick for the past 4 years.  Ricky was a dedicated family man who enjoyed being with his children. He loved to hunt, go horseback riding, fishing, camping and cooking. He loved nature, being outdoors, and hard work.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Linda Higgins, daughters Kim Kane (Robert) of Kittery Maine, Rachel Willerer (Michael) of Newmarket, NH, Julie Trimble (Matt)of Pascoag, RI, and Michael Riley, (Britney) whom he thought of as a son, of Brunswick, siblings, Robert Higgins (Dianne), Jeffrey Higgins (Pam), and Deborah Higgins, all of New Hampshire, 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Towle, and siblings, Patricia Piper and Cynthia Higgins (Jim Petropoulakos).

Services to celebrate Ricky's life, will be held at a later date.
