Diann Bakley Cook, 78, of Brunswick, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025, at Addington Place.

A service to celebrate Diann's life, will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, at 12:00 noon, at Christian Renewal Church with Pastor Mark Linton officiating.  The family will be receiving friends from 11:30 until service time.

Diann was born November 23, 1946, in Jacksonville, FL, to John Cooper Bakley and Norma Celeste Rogers Bakley.  She was a 'Navy Brat' born in Jacksonville and traveled around with her dad's Navy career until settling down in Brunswick in 1960.  She attended Glynn County Schools, graduating from Glynn Academy with the Class of 1965.  Diann was employed as the Records Manager by the Glynn County Board of Education, and was a member of Christian Renewal Church, the Red Hat Society, and Georgia Records Management Association.  Throughout her life, she enjoyed doing arts and crafts, and collecting mid-western art.  She was a full time Nana to Hunter, and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sons; Donovan Cook and Scott Cook, grandson; Hunter Cook, and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother; John Lamar Bakley.

Chapman Funeral Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with services.
