Donna Rose Popwell Cooper, 63, of Brunswick, passed away early Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Southeast Georgia Health System - Brunswick Campus.

A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Chapman Event Center, Monday, March 25, 2024, from 5:00 until 7:00pm.  The family asks that in lieu of cut flowers, to send plants that can be planted, so they can be enjoyed forever.

Donna was born December 10, 1960, in Brunswick, to Philip Lee Popwell and Loretta Faye Godley Popwell.  She had lived in Brunswick all of her life, graduating from Brunswick High School with the Class of 1978.  She had been employed with Popwell's Auto Service, and was the owner and operator of Donna's Cleaning Service.  Donna attended Covenant Church in Jesup, and enjoyed fishing, cooking, music (especially South of Savannah Band), and spending time with her family.

Donna is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roger Cooper, their children, Ronald Lee Cooper (Joyce) and Jessica Coen (Tyler), grandchildren, Dalton Cooper, Madison Thomas, Brianna Cooper, and Maddox Thomas, her mother, Loretta Faye Godley Popwell, sisters, Amy Priest (Scott), and Rebecca Ann Trawick (Steve), and a brother, Phillip Wilson Popwell, all of Brunswick, and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her father, Philip Lee Popwell, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Daniel Popwell, a sister, Phillis Lee Popwell, and a sister-in-law, Annette Popwell.
