Eddie Sanford, age 72, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Hospice of the Golden Isles.

Eddie was born December 9, 1952, in Folkston Georgia and lived most of his life in Glynn County.

He worked for C.E. Self Masonry for six years, LCP Chemicals for eighteen years, Haven Manufacturing for five years and owned Sanford Stables for fifteen years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling and horses.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Ruth Sanford, a sister Evon and a brother Kelly.

Survivors include his wife Rhonda of forty-nine years, sons Jarratt (Ashley) and Shea (Stephanie) all of Brunswick; three grandchildren, Raegan, Cameron and Tina; and a sister Darlene.

As per his request, no services will be held. In lieu of remembrances, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles at 1692 Glynco Pkwy, Brunswick, GA 31525 in memory of James E. Sanford.
