Edward Perry Williford,83, passed away Monday March 28,2022 at Hospice of The Golden Isles in Brunswick.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 1, 2022, 12:00 noon, at Chapman Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rob Williford, George Miller, Eric Williford, Blake Stephens, Zachery Williford, Jon Spain, Dustin Reach, Kyle Young, and Jared Oglesby serving as active pallbearers. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time.

Ed was born July 16, 1938, in Montgomery County, to Harvey and Sarah Williford.  He had lived in Brunswick since 1973, and was a member of Arco Baptist Church, Brunswick Lodge 717 F & AM.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.  Ed had been employed by Edgy-Wooten Saw Mill as a mechanic for several years, and retired from Lowe's after 15 years of service.

Ed is survived by his children, Brock Williford (Cindi), Rocky Williford (Lisa), Pat Williford, Lawanda Squires (Mike), and Sondra Miller (George), Sisters, Sue Harrelson, and Glenda Williford, both of Alma, GA, Brothers, Wiley Williford of Alma, Albert Williford (Patricia), of Alma, and Carlton Williford (Jeannie) of Alabama, a brother-in-law, Jimmy Trull of Jesup, grandchildren, Rob Williford (Tara), George Miller (Shelby), Eric Williford (Joani), Donyelle Spain (Jon), Blake Stephens (Staci), Whitney Reach (Dustin), Carlee Oglesby (Jared), and Zachary Williford, great grandchildren, Molly, Gracie, Perryn, Garin, Hunter, Wyatt, Peyton, Linlee, Paisleigh, Erica, Stella, Tripp, and Kayden, and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Williford, and his wife, Peggy Williford.
