Eric "Jamie" Butts, 50, of Brunswick, passed away Friday, November 7, 2025, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025, 11:00 am, at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tyler Coen officiating.  Burial to follow in Palmetto Cemetery with Austin Guest, Clay Guest, Laszlo Szilagyi, Preston Lewis, Christian Pefanis, and James Williamson serving as active pallbearers.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Jaime was born July 16, 1975, in Brunswick, and had been a resident of Glynn and Camden Counties all of his life.  He had worked in construction most of his life, working at Brunswick Floors, D & D Decorators, and Brand Scaffolding.  Prior to his declining health, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and restoring old furniture.

Survivors include his mother; Rosa Green Hill of Brunswick, his wife; Chassity Hawkins Butts of Kingsland, children; Bailey Hernandez of Brunswick, Jayden Butts and Jayda Butts, both of Kingsland, a sister; Karla Butts Szilagyi (Laszlo) of Brunswick, nieces and a nephew; MiKayla Guest (Clay), MiKenzi Thomas (Austin), Mallery Pefanis, Cari Pefanis, and Christian Pefanis.  Jaime was preceded in death by his father; Robert L. Butts and his son; Jacob Butts.
