Esther Doria Leech, 103, of St. Simons Island passed away Saturday, July 2,2022 at Magnolia Manor.

Esther was born January 23, 1919 to Bonnie Rose and Charles Doria in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Residing most of her life in Jacksonville, Florida, she spent the last twenty years in Georgia.  Esther was Catholic by faith and married for sixty three years to her loving husband Edward Leo Leech, having never remarried after he passed. She was a very loving and outgoing person, to which family was paramount. The family has gathered together on the 4th of July for 54 years.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children; Charles E. Leech, Robert Leech (Nita), Donna Shubert (Coby), five grandchildren; Kelly S. Driggers, Christy Smith, Kari Wilson, Teri Germany, Traci Shephard, nine great-grandchildren; Caroline  (Cooper), Sarah, Christopher, Max, McKenzie, Hadley, Harper, Lila, Maddox, and many nieces, nephews and loved ones. She is preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Edward, brother Chuck Doria, sister Marie DeAngelis, and daughter-in-law Brenda Locke Leech.

Services for Ms. Esther Leech will be held at a later date.
