Frances Stevens Gradick Landel passed peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday November 26th, 2025 at Addington Place, Brunswick, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alden William Landel. She is survived by her children, their families, and her extended family. She was one of the first coed graduates of Emory University in 1956, and went back to college to obtain a BA in Art from Georgia State University. A talented, trained fine artist; Frances drew her subject matter from the people, animals, nature, and travels abroad. Her wicked sense of humor, love of literature, politics, and learning will be missed by her family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined.
