Fred Robert 'Bobby' Cave, 80, of Blythe Island, passed away January 3, 2018, at his residence.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018, 11:00 am, at Northside Baptist Church,  with Rev. Craig Hartzog officiating.  A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Ethridge Cave, daughter, Marie Daniels (Michael) of Nahunta, a step-son, Lee Poe (Kathy) of Yadkinville, NC, a sister, Betty McGregor of Brunswick, and several grandchildren.

Bobby was born March 16, 1937 in Green Cove Springs, FL, to Wylie Wyman Cave, Sr., and Thelma Benning Craven Cave.  He was a 1955 Graduate of Glynn Academy and was  Veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict.  Bobby was retired from Babcock & Wilcox, was a member of Northside Baptist Church and the Mens II Sunday School Class, and was a member of Ocean Lodge 214 F & AM.
