Mrs. Freddie Partin Keen, 83, of Brunswick, passed away at her residence Friday, July 7, 2023.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023, 1:00pm, at Bay Harbor Church of God, with Pastor John Harris and Pastor Tom Maddux officiating.  Interment will follow at Palmetto Cemetery with Josh Keen, Chris Keen, Benjamin Tyre, Austin Rhodes, Matthew Keen, Rylen Smith, and Mason Gill serving at active pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Overby, Ann Samples, Billy Partin, Larry Partin, Travis Cristobal, Kaden Keen, Noah Smith, and Ryder Moore.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to service time at the church.

Freddie was born August 24, 1939, in Toombs County, GA, to William Fred Partin and Mattie Lou Barfield Partin.  She moved from Toombs County to Brunswick 64 years ago and was a member of Bay Harbor Church of God.  Freddie was a homemaker who loved her family dearly, and loved taking care of them including her husband, Grover.

Freddie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Grover Keen, Sr., their children, Clint Keen (Leeann) of Waverly, Patty Overby (Tim) of Brunswick, Lisa Tyre (Leonard), of Brunswick, and Wendell Keen of Nahunta, grandchildren, Ashley Smith (Mike), Amanda Keen, Josh Keen, Chris Keen, Robyn Gill, Benjamin Tyre (Shelbie), Jessica Tyre, and Brittany Rhodes (Austin), numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings, James Partin, Paul Partin, Jimmy Partin, Sherry Wilson, and Terry Partin, and a grandson, Scott Overby.
