Gary Allen Goss, 72, of Atkinson, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018, in Brunswick.
A service to celebrate his life, will be held at his residence, 385 Barlow Street, Atkinson, on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at 5:00 PM.
Gary was born in Jesup, Ga on April 4, 1946, to Lida Allen Goss and Jewell Dorice Aldridge Goss. He was a 1964 graduate of Glynn Academy, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was retired from Owens & Pridgen Inc., as a crane operator, was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Survivors include his children, Ann Yard and Gary Allen Goss, Jr., his step-mother, Lona Goss, a sister-in-law, Fran Bessent (Mike), 14 brothers and sisters, Peggy, Larry, Debra, Dianne, Johnny, Jackie, Jeannie, Jimmy, Julie, Jerry, Robert, Tony, and Connie, 4 grandchildren, Jacob Cottle, Seth Goss, Jacob Griffis, and Kaleb Griffis, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gina Seely Goss, a sister, Judy Sheffield, step-sons, Joey Griffis and Frank Bessent
