George Christopher Cummings "Chris" passed away on December 24, 2025, in Poulan, GA. Born on May 28, 1980 in Glynn County Georgia. Chris lived a life marked by deep devotion to his family unwavering generosity and a tireless work ethic.

A proud graduate of McIntosh County Academy class of 1998, Chris built a life rooted in love and service. In 2006 he met the woman who would become his wife and closest companion. Their friendship blossomed into a relationship in 2008 and by February 2011 they were united in marriage. Together they not only shared a home but also a vision for their future.

In 2013 Chris and his wife founded Cummings Affordable Roofing and Remodeling- A business that reflected both his entrepreneurial spirit and his many talents. Whether fixing homes or repairing cars Chris approached every task with skill and dedication. His hands built more than structures, they built security and comfort for those he served.

Chris was baptized alongside his wife on June 23,2013 at Bay Harbour Church of God in Brunswick, GA, a spiritual milestone that underscored the strength of their bond and shared faith.Above all else, Chris's greatest joy came from spending time with his family. His heart belonged to them completely. He was an amazing son, husband, father, and best friend and embraced these roles with pride and purpose.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Tricia Cummings, his parents, George and Willie Cummings, his children, Cedijah Cummings, Chmari Cummings, Chrishai Cummings, Jamaica Cummings, Juliana Cummings, Christian Cummings, George Cummings Jr. Trenton Cummings, Triston Cummings, and his baby girl, Christa Cummings, a sister, Georgette Quarterman (Mark), and many other relatives.Chris now joins in rest his oldest son, Christopher Cummings, brothers, Cedrick Cummings, Quinton Cummings, sister, Shiela Cummings.

Those who knew Chris will remember him as big hearted and always willing to help with a smile on his face. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched with kindness in his actions and love in every word spoken to those around him. May the memory of George Christopher Cummings bring comfort to all who knew him and to live on forever in our hearts.

Private funeral services for Chris will be held at Chapman Funeral Chapel.
