George Wesley Martin, Jr., 82, of Brunswick, passed away December 26, 2025, at his residence.

George was born February 12, 1943, in Statesboro, GA. He was a graduate of Toombs County High School and had lived in Brunswick since the early 1970's.  George retired from the State of Georgia as a land surveyor.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Kate Martin of Brunswick, a step-daughter, Pam Bates Barwick (Ronnie) of Brunswick, grandchildren, Samantha Barwick of Brunswick, Chris Barwick of Tybee Island, and Chase Barwick of Las Vegas.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a step-son, Glen Bates, a granddaughter, Lynndy Barwick.

At George's request. no services will be held.
