Gloria Jean Cornelius Cason, 67, of Brunswick, formerly of Waycross, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at Hospice of the Golden Isles.

Gloria was born July 24, 1957, in Omaha, NE, to Claude Lee and Dorothy Cornelius.  She lived most of her life in Fort Pierce, FL, moving to Waycross, GA in 1995.  She had been a resident of Brunswick for the past year.

Survivors include her children, Larry Albro of Waycross, Melinda Lemmond (Joey) of Brunswick, and Jeff Cornelius of Brunswick, a step-daughter, Becky Davis (Larry) of Waycross, a sister, Carolyn Melton, 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by siblings, Diane Hearn, C.L. Cornelius, Steve Cornelius, Jerry Cornelius and Jimmy Cornelius, and her husband, Malcom Sidney Cason.

Private services will be held at a later date.
