Gloria was born February 4, 1940, in Baxley, GA, to Otis Lee and Leah Durden Swain.  She had lived in Brunswick most of her life, and attended Glynn Academy.  Gloria enjoyed doing ceramics, and was an avid bowler, and Bingo player.  She had worked many years in food service, and retired from the Bowlarena, as the manager of the Bowlarena Snack Bar.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Rick LaMantain, II, of Brunswick, children, Deb Fawley (Doug), Shelby Lamb - Setterlund (Gerald), all of Ocala, FL, Howard Lamb (Kelly), Loretta Hoffman all of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Robin Hoenshell (Chuck), and Leah Yglesia, all of Brunswick, a sister, Jane Gibson Myrtle Beach, SC, 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to American Legion Post 9.
