Gloria Jean Strickland's Obituary
Gloria Jean Strickland, 72, of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Jesup Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
Gloria was born December 1, 1948 in Brunswick, to Riley and Mary Strickland, she was a homemaker and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and playing cards with her family.
Survivors include her children, Greg Creel (Donna), Shannon Creel, Larry Brockington, Shawn Brockington all of Brunswick, and Stacy Brockington of Cookville, TN, grandchildren, Ashley and Jordan Creel, Lindsay, River, and Gavin Creel, Shawn Eric Brockington, Jr., Austin Graham, Riley Brockington, Aliza Brockington, Shelby Brockington, T.J. Howell, Jr., and Mary Grace Brockington, great grandchildren, Ethan Studstill, Payton Studstill, Millie Edwards, Zareah Jackson, Jacody Jackson, Nevaeh Howell, and Tripp Brockington.
Visitation will be held at Chapman Funeral Chapel, Wednesday November 17, 2021 at 2:00pm, with funeral services following at 3. A private burial will be held at a later date.
