Henry Donnie Hardwick, 68, of Brunswick, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Hospice of the Golden Isles.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022, 11:00 am, at Chapman Funeral Chapel, interment will follow at Palmetto Cemetery with George Ferra, Jr., Joseph Ferra, Frank Ferra, Jr., Michael Ferra, James Ferra, Paul Ferra, Jr., and Daniel Holton serving as active pallbearers.  A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, April 4, 2022, from 6:00 until 8:00 at Chapman Funeral Chapel.

Donnie was born September 19, 1955, in Baxley, GA to Henry and Ivy Barnes Hardwick.  He had lived in Brunswick most of his life, he was a 1971 graduate of Brunswick High School, and was retired from Waste Management.  Donnie enjoyed bowling, and spending time with his grandson Aiden.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Hardwick (Abi), and grandson Aiden Hardwick, all of Brunswick, and sisters, Wanda Johnson (Delmar) of Rockwell, NC, Jan Holton (Ed) of Brunswick, and Betty Browher (Roger) of McIntyre, GA, and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Ferra Hardwick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525.
