Howard Sapp,75, of Nahunta, passed away Sunday, October 30,2022 at his residence.

Howard was bor n on March 7,1947 to Minnie Griffin Sapp and Carol Lee Sapp in Hazelhurst . Howard lived in Brantley County for the past fifty-two years, retiring from Jekyll Island Authority, wastewater treatment plant. He served his country in The United States Navy from 1967- 1973 while stationed on the USS Cromwell, and later joined the Naval Reserves.

Howard is survived by his loving wife of 52 years; Mary Ann Sapp, children; Michael Sapp (Sara) of Waynesville, Joseph Sapp of Nahunta, Adam Sapp (Angela) of Nahunta, grandchildren; Mikey Sapp, Julie Sapp, Caitlyn Sapp, Courtney Sapp, nine great grandchildren including Amber Sapp, two nieces; Teresa Tucker, Sheena Sapp, and one nephew; Kyle Sapp. Howard is preceded in death by: Randall Sapp, Reno Sapp, Barbara Roberts, and Sylvania Woodall.

Private services will be held at a later date.
