Jackie Herndon, 89, of Brunswick, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, at his residence.

Services to celebrate his life will be Sunday, October 19th from 2-5 at the Chapman Event Center.

6045 Golden isles parkway Brunswick, GA 31525.

Jackie was born December 27, 1935, in Brunswick, GA.  A native of Brunswick, he lived in Warner Robbins, GA for 33 years, prior to moving back to Brunswick in 2022.  He was retired from Hercules, Inc. and enjoyed fishing and wood working.

Survivors include his children; Kimberly Brockington, Kevin Herndon (Marie), Lee Standard (Teena), all of Brunswick, and Jalanda Goff (Jonathan), of Warner Robbins, siblings, Wallace Herndon, Jerry Herndon, and Geneva White, grandchildren; Maggie, Jacob, Josh and Luke Brockington.  He was preceded in death by his wife Ethel Jean Herndon, parents, a brother, William Thomas Herndon, a sister, Bertie Jo McCarthy.
