James 'Roy' Anderson, 83, of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at his residence.

Roy was born September 2, 1943, in Odum, GA to Cleveland Anderson and Willie May Usher Anderson. He lived most of his life in South Georgia. Roy attended Glynn County Schools. Roy proudly served his country in the US Navy and retired from Brunswick Pulp & Paper. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Roy is survived by his brother, Glenn Anderson (Sylvia) of White Oak, a sister, Shiela Franklin (James) of Yatesville, GA, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Regina Anderson, and two brothers, Donnie Anderson, and Wayne Anderson.

A funeral service for Roy will be held Friday, November 28, 2025, at 11:00 am at Chapman Funeral Chapel. With Brother Donald Pittman officiating.  A private burial will be held at a later date.
