James 'Brett' Shepard, 43, of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at Chapman Funeral Chapel, Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 4:00pm, with Rev. Don Combs officiating.  A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00pm until service time.

Brett was born in Brunswick on February 8, 1978.  He had attended Brunswick High School, and was a self employed carpenter.  Brett enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all water sports including boating, water skiing, and knee boarding.

Brett is survived by his parents, Bill & Cheryle Shepard of Brunswick, and sons, Dylan Shepard of Atlanta, Cole Sawyer, Chad Beasley, and Ethan Perry, all of Brunswick.
