Jeffrey Joseph Walsh, 68, of Brunswick, passed away Sunday September 4, 2022 at his residence.

Jeffrey was born April 30, 1954 in Sufferin, New York to Rita Marie Bates and Joseph Anthony Walsh. Coming from North Plainfield, New Jersey, he spent the last 18 years residing in the Golden Isles. A Catholic by faith, Jeffrey used his compassionate talents serving the community as a registered nurse for the Glynn County Health Department. He enjoyed watching sports, especially Notre Dame Football and New York Yankee Baseball, and listening to the Beatles music. He was a caring and supportive father. His pride and joy was his family, whom he adored spending time with, especially his precious grandchildren and fur babies.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 35 years, Sheila Walsh, mother, Rita Marie Bates Walsh, children, Jacquelyn Sawey (Ed), Erin Bereheiko (Steve), Matthew Walsh (Tonya),brother, Timothy Walsh, and grandchildren, Elijah Walsh, Aedan Walsh, Nolan Walsh, Donovan Sawey, Samuel Walsh, Wyatt Walsh, Bridget Sawey and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Walsh, mother-in-law, Ruth Reddish and fur babies Will & Marley.

Funeral services will be held Friday September 9, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Chapman Funeral Chapel, a visitation will be held one hour prior. Pastor Steve Beal will be officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Matthew Walsh, Elijah Walsh, Nolan Walsh, Aedan Walsh, Tripp Rawlins, Brandon Prescott, Steve Luistro and Pete Jock will be serving as active pallbearers.
